INGREDIENTS
1kg frozen Brussels sprouts
white sugar
boiling water
sea salt
1 tbs mild curry powder
100g unsalted butter
½ cup breadcrumbs
METHOD
Place Brussels sprouts in a pot with boiling water, add 5 tbs white sugar and 1 tbs of salt.
Cook till soft, drain well.
In meantime melt butter in separate pot, stir in breadcrumbs and cook for a while, add to drained Brussels sprouts.
Mash Brussels sprouts, season with curry powder, white sugar and salt.
Serves 5-6 people as a side dish.
