INGREDIENTS
160g smoked sardines in oil (with oil) – regular sardines are ok too
3 tbs tomato puree/paste
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp turmeric – optional
½ tsp garlic powder/granules
olives and / or capers (chopped)
METHOD
Mash sardines and stir everything together.
Paste is enough for about 8 slices of toasted bread.
