Last year during Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning £20,532,000 has been raised from smaller and bigger coffee mornings hosted by individual people, companies, organizations, stores, coffee shops, schools and M&S Cafés all over UK as well as from on-line donations.
It is probably a bit too late to organize coffee morning yourself but you can always pop to one of the coffee mornings organized in your area – locate one near you here. If you can’t make but you still want to help you can easily make a donation directly to Macmillan.
I’m not quite sure yet where exactly I will go on the day but many Brighton’s stores and cafes takes part in the event so I definitely won’t miss it (!)
And don’t forget to spreading the word about Macmillan’s Coffee Morning on Facebook and Twitter (#CoffeeMorning).
Today after the school run I have spotted two places in Brighton that will be hosting Coffee Morning, one of them was Brighton Tavern at 99-100 Gloucester Road but there is many, many more places hosting the event – just look for Macmillan poster in the window.
