My newest discovery… delicious smokey sauce made with whiskey :)
Combine one third (or more) of the sauce with 1½ kg chicken wings (divided into 3 parts). Place them on baking tray and bake in oven preheated to 180°C (356°F) until soft inside and crisp on outside, stirring from time to time. When wings are ready just add a little bit more sauce, mix well and serve.
Oooo I love chicken marinated with slight alcohol … this is heavenly
This chicken sounds yummy! I have to watch out for Jack Daniels BBQ sauce in groceries from now on…
oh yes. totally should get some of this for a Labor Day long weekend pf BBQ-ing!
I think JD is one time covered by a local cuisine magazine here in NZ. Is he the one from Louisiana? I’m dying to try his sauce, looks perfect!!
Psst…. I have a little surprise for you at my blog ;)
Looks great!
I see this all the time when I go shopping, right next to the Budweiser sauces. I’d love to try it, but it’s a bit expensive.
Thank you for all the comments! :)
Graeme – Budweiser sauces sounds interesting, never seen them before. About the JD sauce, it is really a bit expensive, especially that for one meal we use half of the bottle but it taste really smokey ;)
Arfi – Jack Daniel’s is brand of the whiskey from Tennessee and this sauce is made with it, delicious :D
Mmmm, yes, we also have a bottle of this in the fridge – I love it!
