INGREDIENTS
3 cups easy cook rice
6 cups water
1 tbs Vegeta (vegetable seasoning)
3 x 120g tin of sardines in tomato sauce (mashed)
25g unsalted butter
3 tbs fresh / frozen dill
4-5 tbs curry paste ( I used coconut and coriander Korma curry paste)
sea salt – optional
METHOD
Place rice, water and Vegeta in a large pot and cook covered till rice is ready.
Stir in sardines, butter, curry paste, dill and stir well, cook few more minutes stirring constantly.
Optionally season with salt.
Serve to the plates and ejoy.
Serve 4-5 people.
Love love sardines. Never really thought to make rice out of it…
I haven’t tried sardines yet but this curry looks tasty. Coconut and coriander curry paste sounds so good.
