INGREDIENTS
200g unsalted butter
½ cup water
½ cup golden caster sugar
4 tbs cocoa powder
1 tbs vanilla sugar
some plain wafers or some tea biscuit
3 cups powdered milk (not granulated)
60g blanched hazelnuts (whole)
60g walnuts (chopped coarsely)
EQUIPMENT
low baking tin
baking paper or Telfon sheet
METHOD
Place butter, water, sugar, vanilla sugar and cocoa powder in a saucepan and heat over low fire until butter is melted, cook for 2-3 minutes longer stirring constantly, leave to cool down a little bit.
Stir in nuts, milk, breake biscuit or wafters and add as many as possible to create hard to stir mixture.
Move it to lined with baking paper or Teflon sheet low baking tin and leave in the fridge for couple of hours befoe cutting into slices.
That looks really good with the large nuts in it.
