INGREDIENTS
2 carrots (sliced finely)
1 huge leek (sliced)
1½ cups easy cook long grain rice
3 cups water
1 tbs Vegeta (vegetable seasoning)
2 tsp garlic granules
4 tbs olive oil
METHOD
Cook rice in covered pot with 3 cups of water, Vegeta and garlic granules. When rice is ready leave aside. Fry leek on half of the oil and add to the rice, do the same with carrots.
Serve 4 people as a side dish.
I love the colors of that dish. Looks yummy!
I often mix rice with some veggies, it tastes and looks better than plain rice ;)
