LARGE (8 SQUARE) BAG

Connect 2 sets of 4 flowery granny squares with dc stitch. You can work it on the correct side or on the reverse if you find the stitch too visible, personally I quite like it.

Then work dc around the sides and bottom of the bag connecting both sides. Finish with dc around the edge of the top of the bag. To make a strap start with 2 ch for the first htr and then 5 more htr, add 2 ch at the end of the round and turn around. Work 6 htr + 2 ch for as many rows as need. Once the strap is long enough connect it to the other end with row of ss on the inside of the bag.

SMALL (2 SQUARE) BAG

Make 2 flowery granny squares a bit bigger adding row of 3 tr, 1 ch, 3 tr, 1 ch etc. in round 3 and then making it square in the round 4.

The same way like in the previous bag work dc around the sides and bottom of the bag to connect the two squares, then work dc also around the top. To make a strap start with 2 ch and then work 4 htr, 2 extra ch and turn around, continue working 5 htr + 2 ch for as many rows as needed. Connect strap to the bag with row of ss and voilà, the bag is ready.
