INGREDIENTS
6 slices toast bread or even better slices of baguette (I used brown toast bread)
sundried tomato paste or pesto (any)
cheddar cheese (sliced)
½ onion (finely sliced)
2-3 white button mushrooms (finely sliced)
rainbow peppercorns (freshly ground)
salt
METHOD
Toast bread.
Spread sundried tomato paste / pesto over the bread, top with slices of cheese, mushrooms and onions.
Season with pepper and salt.
Place on the grill tray and put to the oven. Grill in 200°C (392°F) till cheese melt and start looking golden brown.
Remove from the grill and eat warm.
