Romanesco broccoli / Roman cauliflower is an edible flower of the species Brassica oleracea and a variant form of cauliflower that came from Italy. It is sometimes called coral broccoli or broccoflower, but the second name is also applied to green-curded cauliflower.
Romanesco can be prepared like normal broccoli.
I used it for instance in “Romanesco Bake with Olives and Tuna Béchamel Sauce”.
