Cinnamon and Mango Lassi

INGREDIENTS

500g low fat natural yogurt
1kg ripe mangoes – 2 large ones (peeled and cut of from the seed)
1½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ cup semi skimmed milk or more if lassi is too thick

EQUIPMENT

blender

METHOD

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

Make 4 small portions.

  1. Ok, I’m maybe gonna make myself look a complete numpty now but what exactly is Lassi? It sounds delicious but I wouldn’t have a clue what to do with it.

  2. Sharon – lassi is a drink from India, it is like a milk shake or a smoothie, prepared from yogurt / milk and fruits, spices, vegetables. It can be sweet or savoury drink served itself or as an addition to the meal.
